Feeling very frustrated early in the process of painting this one, I decided to let it sit for a bit instead of painting over it and starting over, like I often do. I decided that I had to let go of any attachment to a certain configuration or way it “needed to be” and to just keep turning it, adding color, value and texture until it felt complete. It was very grounding kind of how this feels to me
