Bond street

$0.00
Sold

Inspired by Helen frankenthaler I wanted to see what it felt like to paint on raw canvas. The paint didn’t spread like I imagined (I didn’t thin it enough) but I loved it once I began to use oil sticks to just let loose and make marks upon marks reminding me of bond street on my walk to and from my studio - where so many of the buildings are gorgeously filled with beautiful graffiti and street art. Sadly they are disappearing. This piece was transformed into a chair by Rachel Rosenblum at Double R Design and is available through her company.
