In this small group class we will explore the process of making abstract art.  We will do warm up exercises exploring mark making and you will get your hands dirty learning (by doing) different brush strokes, how to create water drip marks, and how to mix colors on canvas.  We will discuss creating compositions, activating the canvas as well as understanding how to create layers and contrast. You will leave with works on paper as well as a work on canvas.
