Feeling tremendous sadness on the 20th anniversary I retreated to my studio. After unleashing marks and colors through tears I was amazed (somewhat) to clearly see an image of a fireman amongst my marks. Whether clear or not to another, when I think back to that day and that period in NYC My mind always goes to the fireman and those images of them running into the buildings.
